Beautiful location. I love the floor to ceiling windows and watching the waterfall in the distance. The pianist was great and played Christmas music! You can smell the wonderful smell of steak as soon as you enter the elevator to head down to the lobby. The service was impeccable! Our waitress Chrissy (I think) was super attentive as was the entire staff. We were greeted at every point! The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection, but it was light on seasoning and char. We ordered truffle butter and that helped amp up the flavor more. But I would prefer the steak to be more seasoned regardless. For sides, we had the brussel sprouts (super sweet and crispy), creamed spinach (perfectly salted and creamy) and mac and cheese and all were great and complimented the dish so well. I'll be back! :)

I had a wonderful experience at Dakota's. My partner and I stopped by for lunch this past Monday afternoon. The customer service was phenomenal from the moment we got off the elevator. Our servers name was Judge, and he took excellent care of us. We each ordered the steak frites and an order of the scallops. The presentation on each was amazing. I loved how the steak frites plate was dressed up so it didn't look empty, unlike many other restaurants. I would definitely come back in the future for dinner and ask for Judge.

Great service, very attentive staff. The drinks were amazing, and the sides were the show stoppers. Warming they are very big so do not get 1 side per person, it is more of a sharing with the table format. We got the fries (best fries in the world), loved the au grantin potatoes, brussel sprouts, and Mac and cheese. For appetizers, we got the calamari and crab claws which came with the most amazing sauce. It had citrus in it that complemented the crab very well. The steaks, on the other hand, did not meet up to my expectation. It was not seasoned that well. However it was cooked very well. The sides paired well with the steak. Food overall was good, and service was amazing. Might only come again if I was in the area.

I wasn't feeling the best on this day and I regret not taking photos of my food and drinks because they were so good. My partner had an old fashioned and I tried an equally delicious cocktail. He also enjoyed the classic Southern man's meal, steak, potatoes, and salad lol. DELICIOUS! Thinking back I'm a bit upset that I didn't snag a few more bites before he devoured his meal. I went a bit lighter and enjoyed their Salmon with a side of broccolini. Being that it was a spur-of-the-moment, after work dinner I would say business casual is more than appropriate for the venue. But I enjoy being a bit more over the top so I had to do what I do best. The service was amazing. They seemed to have an "all-hands-on-deck" system where everyone makes each guest a priority. 10/10 will be back

There's like fancy, and then there's "fancy fancy". The "fancy fancy" variety usually comes with the waiter escorting you to the bathroom then running back to your seat before you get there just to refold your napkin. Then there's probably random popping in just to make sure your water glass is no less than an inch full from the top of the rim. The typical scraping off crumbs before the next plate is placed down. You know, the very important skill of being ultra present if you need something at any given moment but also invisible to not ruin the diner's experience by hovering too much. This place has all of that. My boyfriend and I actually had a double date with my brother and his wife and so the table was full of absolute deliciousness. And honestly, I'm not going to say anything groundbreaking or new. Yes, the tater tots were great, as were all of the drinks. Yes, the steaks all of them were absolutely fantastic. I will say, my brother ordered the Beef Wellington because it's always been on his bucket list. He didn't regret it because he had wanted to try it for the longest time, but found it to be okay and just a tad salty. The rest of the table ordered the ribeye and split a bunch of sides. No complaints from us!
